As the new president of Region 14 AFTCA I am delighted to suggest that all members and
any others that are interested direct their attention to our website:www.region14aftca.com
 to see our upcoming schedule of summer and fall events. The
number of trials is more than my fingers can type but if one goes to the home page and
notices the menu down the left hand side of the page the second listing from the top is
"2006 Recognized Trials". The sub folder at the very bottom is listed as "List of Proposed
Trials" and we are adhereing to that schedule at present. Most notably is the Region 14
Am. Shooting Dog Championship in Stoughton, Saskatchewan and the Region 14 Am. All
Age Championship once again being held immediately following the Prairie All Age
Championships and immediately prior to the National Am. Chicken Championship in
Mortlach, Saskatchewan.

I'm proud to announce the judges for this years Amateur Championships as follows:
Region 14 Am. SD Championship - Jeff Haggis, Ontario and Dave Walker, Idaho. Region 14
Am. All Age Championship - Sheldon Rogers, Saskatchewan and Billy Henley, Georgia. As
has been our effort for the last 20 years of hosting these marvelous events we try to
incorporate a "local" and an "out of town" judge. This year is no exception and we are
extremely proud of our judges' willingness to assist in the calling of these popular trials.

Listings will, of course, appear in the FIELD but in leau of patience one may see the
schedule as noted.

We look forward to seeing everyone in beautiful Saskatchwan this
August and September.
