12/2000 Update
Faraway Blondie, Faraway Pam, Faraway Rambling Ursala
and Faraway Penny have deceased.
Faraway Rambling Wanda has
just weaned eleven pups by Buzzsaw's Stormy Jack. Wanda
is a double grandaughter of Faraway Triple Rebel which makes her genetically
equivalent to a direct daughter (50%) A Rambling Rebel. She
is the only living Rebel bitch (=50% Rebel) that is a field trial winner.
Jack, RU Continental Derby Champion, you Floridians may recollect, won
the Sunshine Open All-Age
at Ted Baker's place. Several
of his get have also won there. It takes a special kind of a field
trial dog to win there...only the toughest of the toughest.
Faraway Triple Rebel also won in Florida.
This cross is a dream cross of
the best of old bloodlines (Buzzsaw's Stormy Bud and Faraway
Triple Rebel). Neither were well known when they were alive &
neither was bred very much. However, when they were bred both proved
to be better producers than the name dogs in the Southeast.
Bud had the highest Prepotency Index in the Southeast and Triple Rebel
had the second highest.
Because of the deteriorating airline
situation these pups will not shipped unless the buyer's location is served
by direct flights by Delta from Atlanta and is in either Eastern or Central
Time Zone.
